Design Direction for multiple global roundtables and innovation strategy summits.
Challenge
Making sense of hundreds of slides in multiple categories involving myriad internal groups in order to tell the story of where M•A•C is today and where strategy and innovation will lead it tomorrow. Wrap it in PPT, the lingua franca of the industry, and present it at multiple global roundtables and innovation summits to the oversight and executive level of the parent company, Estée Lauder.
Solution
Develop a design system that riffs off of the story being told by the creative team. Fold in all the diverse content for marketing, product, finance, and data teams, giving them enough distinction while maintaining a consistant visual hierarchy for the main categories of face, lip, skin, and eye. Bookend this with an initial strategic introduction and conclude with the executive summary.
Final deliverable is a PowerPoint and a single archived print version that goes to the personal archive of Leonard Lauder.
